A

HDMI Port

Use this port to attach an external HD or digital monitor to your

 

 

notebook.

 

 

 

 

 

B

VGA Port

Use this 15-pin port to attach an external VGA or analogue monitor

 

 

to your notebook.

 

 

 

 

 

C

AC Power Port

Lets you attach the notebook to the AC Power source using the AC

 

 

adaptor that comes with your notebook. Keep the notebook

 

 

connected to AC Power whenever possible.

 

 

 

 

 

D

Battery Bay

Equipped with a rechargeable Lithium-Ion (Li-Ion) battery.

 

 

 

 

 

E

TV Tuner Port

Although this port has been made available for your notebook, it is

 

 

only intended for future use. Therefore, this port cannot be used at

 

 

this time. This is due to the large variety of TV Tuner cards available

 

 

in the market, and the various hardware compatibility issues caused.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

WARNING

 

 

 

This port cannot be removed. Do not attempt to use or

 

 

 

 

connect with an antenna or any other devices. This is to

 

 

 

 

prevent possible short circuits, damage to your notebook

Should you add a TV tuner on your own, please be

 

 

 

 

warned that an incompatible TV tuner exposes you to the

 

 

 

 

following risks:

 

 

 

 

i) The computer could overheat if the TV tuner is too hot

 

 

 

 

during operation

 

 

 

 

ii) There is a lightning surge danger should you connect it

 

 

 

 

to an outdoor antenna during a thunderstorm.
