Memory Card

This port allows you to read data from different types of memory

 

Reader

cards: MMC, MS, SD and xD.

IEEE 1394 Port

Use this port to daisy chain up to 63 IEEE 1394 (a high-speed

 

 

interface) devices to your system. IEEE 1394 devices support plug-

 

 

and-play connectivity for transfer rates of up to 400 MB/s.

USB Port

Each USB port allows you to connect USB-equipped peripheral

 

 

devices such as printers, monitors and scanners to your notebook.

E-SATA Port

Use this port to connect to an E-SATA hard disk drive.

Ventilator

This provides ventilation, to ensure your notebook’s temperature is

 

 

optimal.

LAN Port

Connects to a network cable, allowing your notebook to

 

 

communicate with other devices over a network, such as via the

 

 

Internet.
