1.Press Start on the Taskbar and scroll up to Programs. Ac- cess the Communications selection and open Remote Net- working.

2.Double tap on Make a New Connection, and name it “On- board Modem.”

3.In the dialog box, Dial Up Connection, select the port for the on board Modem.

4.Press TCP/IP Settings and be sure that the checkboxes in the General tab and Name Servers tab are enabled.

5.ap OK and Next to continue. Enter your RAS telephone number (provided by your system administrator).

6.ap Finish to close the Dial Up Connection setup.

7.Open Inbox and tap the Options button on the Toolbar to open the Options dialog box.

8. ap on the Services tab, and tap Add… to open the Serv- ices list.

9.Select Internet Mail and double tap on it. When prompted, type in a unique name (for example, “Dial Up”) and tap OK.

10.Fill in the required fields in the Service Definition dialog box. These include:

Connection – select the Onboard Modem.

POP3 Host – obtain this number from your system ad-

Tministrator.

User ID and Password – your corporate codes.

Enter the optional SMTP Host provided by your system administrator and your corporate Internet email address in the return address field.
