35 Advanced Options

See Display Advanced Options on page 31 for details on how to display the

ADVANCED OPTIONS on your OPTIONS panel.

The RELOAD option loads an updated version of the page you are currently visiting. Use this option when the page you are viewing contains information that is updated frequently, such as sports scores or stock quotes.

Reload a page

Open a page, then highlight the RELOAD option and press the GO button.

The HANG UP option allows you to temporarily disconnect from the WebTV Network to make a telephone call, then reconnect to the page you were visit- ing when you disconnected.

Use the HANG UP option

Highlight the HANG UP option and press the GO button. The WebTV connec- tion indicator on the title bar turns red and becomes a straight line.

Make a telephone call the way you normally do.

Press the GO button to reconnect to the WebTV Network.
