5.9 Connecting Multiple SCSI Switches

Up to 32 SCSI Switches can be controlled by a single RS-232 serial interface. To operate in this configuration, set the serial ports to operate in daisychained mode. In Figure 5-7, “1” is RS-232 port 1 on each switch and “2” is RS-232 port 2.
