To avoid damaging the MPS-50's speaker, connect the sound source to the MPS-50 first, then connect the MPS-50 to power.

Be sure to rotate MASTER to MIN (minimum) before you connect the MPS-50 to power, or before you connect or disconnect an input source to the MPS-50.
