Introduction

Printing customer documentation

To print the latest version of the customer documentation:

1.Create a queue, specifying ASCII for input and duplex for output.

2.Insert the DOC CD into the CD drive.

3.Open a UNIX terminal window on the graphical user interface.

4.Enter:

cd /cdrom/quantumedoc/pdfs

5.To list the names of all documents in PDF format, enter: ls -l

6.Enter the lpr location:

cd /usr/ucb

7. To print the selected file (document), enter:

lpr -P queuename/cdrom/ quantumedoc/pdfs/filename

where filename is the name of the file to be printed.
