How NOT to connect a USB Direct Connect

PCs must never be connected together in such a way that any two PCs in the network have more than one connection to each other. Doing this will form a “ring,” which will crash the network.

It is not recommended to install USB Direct Connect on a PC that is already connected to a network, as the original network connections will be changed.
