Adjusting for paper thickness

Paper comes in different weights, normally expressed as gsm (grams per square meter) or lbs (pounds). Some types of forms have multiple pages that make them quite thick. Use the following procedure to change the gap between the print head and the platen and adjust for paper thickness.

Adjustment lever

Move the adjustment lever to one of its nine settings. Position 1 is most suitable for single-sheet paper.
