3Starting the Remote Management Frontend

This chapter describes:

the requirements that must be fulfilled in order to start the Remote Management Frontend via the Operations Manager.

how you start the Remote Management Frontend via the Operations Manager and what you need to take account of depending on the status and remote management hardware of the managed server.

You start the Remote Management Frontend via the graphical user interface of the Operations Manager.

IThe Remote Management Frontend is not listed in the Start menu.

IIn the case of a PRIMERGY server with installed iRMC/ iRMC S2, you can also call the Remote Management Frontend functionality for this server via the corresponding links in the iRMC/ iRMC S2's web interface (see the manuals “iRMC - integrated Remote Management Controller” and “iRMC S2 - integrated Remote Management Controller”).
