The WorkPad z50 Mobile Companion uses special nylon- coated screws with the following characteristics:
∙They maintain tight connections.
∙They do not easily come loose, even with shock or vibration.
But:
∙They need additional force to tighten.
∙They should be used only once.
Do the following when you service this machine:
∙Keep the screw kit (P/N 05K5941) in your tool bag.
∙Always use new screws.
∙Use a torque screwdriver.
Screw Information: The following types of screws are used in this machine. Use the correct screw in the Screw Kit (P/N 05K5941) when replacing any FRUs.
