Step 5 Slide the cover back. Lift it up and off the device.

Caution For proper cooling and airflow, replace the cover before turning on the device. Operating the device for extended periods (over 30 minutes) with the cover removed might damage device components.

Step 6 Before you begin working inside the chassis, familiarize yourself with the location of the components that you will be handling. Figure 3 shows the front of the chassis and the location of the drive bays behind the bezel.
