Using the ZipClip 100

Attaching/removing the clip and power supply

To attach the power supply to the ZipClip 100 mounting clip:

1. Insert the bottom of the power supply down into the clip, starting with one end.

2. Pivot the other end down and press until the clip snaps into place.

To remove the power supply from the ZipClip:

Press the ZipClip’s tab.

Using tie wraps for cable strain relief

1. Attach the power supply to the ZipClip 100 mounting clip as described previously.

2. Fastening the power output cord to the ZipClip base.

a. Insert tie wraps along the notches on the side of the power

supply and through the ZipClip’s tie wrap anchor points,

then around the cord.

Rack Mounting

Mounting to a rack shelf

These power supplies are one eighth rack wide. Up to eight power supplies can be mounted side by side on a rack shelf.

1. Align the threaded holes in the bottom of the power supply with the holes in an Extron rack shelf and fasten the supply to the shelf with two screws as shown below.

2. Bolt the rack shelf to the rack.

 

Mounting to rack rails using a ZipClip

1. Fasten the ZipClip 100 mounting clip to a rack beam using two rack screws, as shown below.

b. Connect pull the tie wrap until secure. Do not over tighten.

Pole or Table Leg Mounting

1. Wrap a tie wrap around the projector mount pole or table leg and the power supply at one of the tie wrap notches, and fasten the tie wrap together to secure the power supply to the pole or table leg.

2. Repeat step 1 at the other tie wrap notch.
