6.8 System (System Settings)

Use the System Settings sub-menu to control the Reboot the Device function or to restore the router to the factory default settings.

WARNING: Restoring the unit to the factory default settings will overwrite and erase any custom settings you have implemented that change the original factory default settings.

6.8.1System Settings

Save To Local Hard Drive. Click “Save Configuration” to save your current configuration information to a file on a local hard drive or any other target you choose.

Restore Configuration from File. Reads all configuration information from a saved configuration file. Click “Browse” to find your saved file.

Restore to Factory Defaults. This option will restore all configuration settings back to the factory defaults. Any settings that have not been saved will be lost. If you want to save your router configuration settings, use the Save Configuration option above.

Reboot the Device. This will restart the router. Useful for

restarting when you are not near the device. When you click the Reboot the Device button, you will be prompted to Save Configuration, which saves the configuration as described in Save to Local Hard Drive. This option preserves any custom settings you have implemented.

Scheduled Reboot. Select a schedule (you must configure this under Tools → Schedules) from the dropdown menu. The router will automatically reboot at the “End Time” of the selected schedule.
