2.Create an appropriate entry in the /etc/hosts file for each active hme channel. Using the example in Step 1, you will have:

zardoz # cat /etc/hosts

Booting from the Network

You can use the Sun FastEthernet PCI Adapter interface as the boot device for your system.

To Boot from the Network

1.At the ok prompt, type:

ok show-devs

The show-devscommand lists the system devices. You should see the full path name of the hme device, similar to this example:

/pci@1f,2000/SUNW,hme@1,1

2. Type:

ok boot /pci@1f,2000/SUNW,hme@1,1
