The B-3000 includes bridging functions that enable secure wireless communication between buildings and within environments where deployment may be difficult. Furthermore, the embedded Power over Ethernet (PoE) design allows for installation in areas without access to power outlets.
The B-3000 also features robust security, which includes 802.1x authentication, 256-bit WEP encryption, Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) and VLAN support. Such features allow network operators to define different security policies for different user groups.
