Insert the side with the pin holes first, with the top lip facing you.

When the card is properly inserted, the CompactFlash LED next to the slot will turn on.

WARNING: Never remove the memory card when the CompactFlash light is flashing, or you could damage the card.

Once the card has been properly inserted, the LCD will display the number of photos found on the card.
