Lens Option 3: Throw Distance 2.76 - 4.85 x Width of Screen

When only Vertical or only Horizontal shift is used:

Maximum Vertical Shift = 95% of screen height (.95 x height)

Maximum Horizontal Shift = 52% of screen width (.52 x width)

Amount of Horizontal shift when Vertical is @ maximum:

Maximum Horizontal Shift = 7% of screen width (.05 x width)

Amount of Vertical shift when Horizontal is @ maximum:

Maximum Vertical Shift = 24% of screen height (.24 x height)

The maximum shift in 2 directions (ex. maximum left and maximum down): Maximum Vertical Shift w/ Horizontal = 48% of screen height (.48 x height) Maximum Horizontal Shift w/Vertical = 31% of screen width (.31 x width)

Example: 56" x 100" Screen TD = 276" to 485" lens to screen

0.95X 56" = 53.2" up or down

0.52X 100" = 52.0" left or right

0.07X 100" = 7.0" left or right

0.24X 56" = 13.4" up or down

0.48X 56" = 26.9" up or down

0.31X 100" = 31.0" left or right

Explanation:

0% shift is when the image center is even with the projector lens center - also known as zero-degree projection-angle

Shifting beyond the maximum values above will cause image loss in corners or edges

When Vertical Shift is maximum, Horizontal shift can only be adjusted 7% left or right in example above

The maximum diagonal movement of the image is expressed as shift in 2 directions, this is the maximum combination of adjustment (ex. Up & Left, Down & Right, Up & Right, Down & Left)

Throw distance does not affect image quality

Lens shift does not affect image quality if within above limits

Lens Option 4: Throw Distance 4.85 - 7.75 x Width of Screen

When only Vertical or only Horizontal shift is used:

Maximum Vertical Shift = 120% of screen height (1.2 x height)

Maximum Horizontal Shift = 71% of screen width (.71 x width)

Amount of Horizontal shift when Vertical is @ maximum:

Maximum Horizontal Shift = 58% of screen width (.58 x width)

Amount of Vertical shift when Horizontal is @ maximum: Maximum Vertical Shift = 105% of screen height (1.05 x height)

The maximum shift in 2 directions (ex. maximum left and maximum down): Maximum Vertical Shift w/ Horizontal = 102% of screen height (1.02 x height) Maximum Horizontal Shift w/ Vertical = 61% of screen width (.61 x width)

Example: 56" x 100" Screen TD = 485" to 775" lens to screen

1.20X 56" = 67.2" up or down

0.71X 100" = 71.0" left or right

0.58X 100" = 58.0" left or right

1.05X 56" = 58.8" up or down

1.02X 56" = 57.1" up or down

0.61X 100" = 61.0" left or right
