This is a good configuration for smaller intercom systems when you want to operate the MS-2002 as a master speaker station, with one speaker to monitor both intercom channels. In this configuration, the Combine/Isolate switch is set to the Isolate position. With this setting the 2 intercom channels are completely separated. The MS-2002 dip switches are set to monaural operation so that both intercom channels are heard in the speaker.
