Stopping Playback & Switching Power Off

STOP

SCAN

SKIP

1 Press the STOP ( ) button. Playback stops.

2 Press the OPEN/CLOSE ()button.

The disc table comes out.

3 Remove the disc.

4 Press the POWER button.

The disc table goes back in, the unit enters standby mode, and the STANDBY indicator lights.

Skipping forward or back

Skipping forward to the next chapter (track)

Press SKIP on remote control unit or button on the front panel.

Skipping back to the previous chapter (track)

Press SKIP on remote control unit or button on the front panel.

Scanning forward or back

Fast forward

Press SCAN on remote control unit or button on the front panel.

Fast reverse

Press SCAN on remote control unit or button on the front panel.

To inclease the scanning speed (forward or reverse), press the buttons once more.

To return to normal playback, press PLAY button.

Notes

The DVD player does not playback sound during the fast reverse and forward playback of DVDs and VCDs however, the DVD player playback sound during fast forward or fast reverse playback of audio CDs.
