Selecting Audio Output

If you have a audio system that has only 2 speakers L/R input, you must change the setting of speaker output, from Multichannel to Two channel.

At the SET UP screen

1 Press the SET UP button, during stop mode.

to select “ PCM only” or “Stream/PCM”.

If you have a receiver equipped with a Dolby Digital Decoder, you can listen to Dolby Digital Sound using the “Stream/PCM” setting.

4 When you select the “Multichannel”, select Center speaker, Surround speakers, Subwoofer on or off.

Press to move the cursor to desired speaker and press “ENTER” to toggle the speaker output.

To exit SET UP menu

Press RETURN or SETUP button.

Note

When connected through Digital Audio Output and “PCM only” is selected at the Audio Output set-up, Speaker Output should be set to “Two Channel”.

Otherwise, center and surround channels’ sound will not be heard when playing discs recorded in multichannel such as Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS.
