❑Check to be sure that the power outlet has power by connecting another device to it.
❑Try replacing the power adapter with another power adapter.
2.Check the Link/Act LED for each port. The LED should be lit steady or flashing. If a Link/Act LED is OFF, check the following:
❑Check to be sure that the node connected to the port on the switch is powered ON. If the node is OFF, power the unit ON.
❑Check to be sure that the distance between the switch and the connected network device is no greater than 100 meters (328 feet).
❑Check to be sure that you are using Category 5 cable.
❑Check to be sure that the cable has not been cut or damaged.
3.If the Lnk/Act LED for a port is on but there is a communication problem to the end node connected to the port, such as the loss of data, check the following:
❑Check to be sure that the distance between the switch and the connected network device is no greater than 100 meters (328 feet).
