Do not use a cross-over cable to connect another AT-FS705LE switch to the Uplink port.

Note

You can use either port 5 or the Uplink port, but you cannot use both simultaneously.

Verifying and Troubleshooting the Installation

The following procedure should be perform after you have initially installed the unit to check to be sure that the switch is operating properly. You can also perform this procedure to troubleshoot the unit in the event you experience any problems with the device.

1.Check the Power LED. The LED should be ON. If the Power LED is OFF, check the following:

❑Check to be sure that the power adapter is securely connected to the power source and to the DC connector on the front of the AT-FS705LE switch.
