ALARM SETTING

The radio, buzzer or CD automatically sounds at the designated time every day.

You can set two different alarm times, one in ALARM 1 and one in ALARM 2.

To set the alarm timer to sound once a day, set the alarm time in ALARM 1. To set the alarm timer to sound twice a day, set the alarm time both in ALARM 1 and ALARM 2.

Before setting

Set the clock (See page 10). If the clock is not set, you cannot set alarm times.

Tune in to a station or stop playback of a disc at the desired track.

To set the alarm time in ALARM 1 → A

1While pressing ALARM 1, press gHOUR or hMIN to set the alarm time.

2Set ALARM/POWER to BUZZER or CD/RADIO.

To start playback of the CD at the alarm time, set FM/AM/CD to CD.

The ALARM 1 indicator a lights up and a beep sound is heard.

When the preset time comes, the radio, buzzer or CD sounds.

To turn off the alarm, press ALARM 1 or SNOOZE. When SNOOZE is pressed, the alarm will automatically come on again after about 9 minutes.

To check the alarm time

Press ALARM 1. The alarm time set in ALARM 1 is displayed.

To change the alarm time

Set the alarm time again.
