3.Insert the module into the board guides at the top and bottom of the selected slot and slide the board into the concentrator. Make sure the connector is well-seated into the backplane of the concentrator.

Figure 3-2 shows the installation of a 24-Port Module.

4.Fasten the spring-loaded screws on the front of the 24-Port Module faceplate to the concentrator with your fingers (do not overtighten).

5.For the 5124M-TPCL model only, use the small screws included in the shipping carton and attach 180° 50-pin cable connectors to the

50-pin connectors on the front of the module (refer to Figure 3-3) .

Note: If you are using 90° connectors, refer to the special instructions provided in the section Using 90° Cable Connectors.
