Multi-Port 100Base-FX Fiber Optical connective for Distance Extension Solution
In modern society, the network is part of our life particularly for the business today. The PLANET MGSW-004-12F / MGSW-004-16F managed fiber Switch are designed to improve backbone and workgroup network applications which need high performance, long distance and stable transmission quality. By offering up to 12/16-Port of 100Base-FX interfaces, the MGSW-004-12F / MGSW-004-16F managed fiber Switch can extend distance reach 2km and deploy each network devices easily.
The MGSW-004 series managed fiber Switch with high performance and supports up to 9.6Gbps backplane for packet transmission. These managed fiber Switch provides network with long distance Fast Ethernet connectivity over multi-mode Fiber optic cable.
Full Managed Layer 2 Features
These managed fiber Switch are able to be managed through Web, telnet and console, the SNMP MIBII also supported for maximum management functionality. The MGSW-004 series managed fiber Switch provides users with high-speed network connections of a store-and-forward architecture for abnormal packet filtering. It also supports IEEE 802.1D Spanning Tree Protocol to maintain a loop-free network and IGMP to limit the flow of IP multicast traffic. The MGSW-004 series managed fiber Switch supports IEEE 802.1Q VLAN and up to 4095 groups, also provides port security for improved network security.
