8.1 Local Security Policy Settings

Step 1: In Windows 2000/XP click the Start button, select Settings and then Control Panel. The Control Panel window will open. Windows XP users may need to click “Performance and Maintenance” in the Control Panel window (depending on user environment)

The Performance and Maintenance window opens.
