CHAPTER 5 COMMUNICATION SETTINGS

Dial-Up PPP Connection

Once the SMC ADSL USB Modem and software have been installed, the SMC Dial-Up PPP Connection icon will appear on your desktop.

To connect to Internet, double-click the short-cut icon. Fill in the User name and Password (which should provided by your Internet Service Provider). Click Dial to start your Internet connection.

Note: If you cannot connect to the Internet, go to “Troubleshooting” on page A-1.
