Setting the IP Address

The IP Address section allows you to setup IP Address, either DHCP or static IP mode. NOTE: Changing these settings is not required in most applications

Click on the “IP Address” selection and the “IP Address” page will appear.

Actiontec recommends keeping the unit’s default static IP address (192.168.0.240), but if it conflicts with another device in the network, you can enter a new address in the “IP Address” text box.

If your network requires the Access Point to run in Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) mode which dynamically assigns an IP address, you can change these settings from this screen.
