IPP Overview
The PS12U supports the Internet Printing Protocol (IPP). You can use this protocol to access your printer over the Internet as long as you configure your IPP gateway correctly on any Windows 2000 or XP client. Using the appropriate software on your system, you can create an IPP print path from your Windows PC system over the Internet to access your PS12U from a remote location.
Note: For incoming print path requests, the network administrator must configure the firewall to accept incoming IPP requests from clients outside of the network.
