All of the icons shown in the ScreenManager “Screen” menu are described below.

Allow the monitor to stabilize for at least 30 minutes before making image adjustments.

Brightness, Contrast, Size, Position

These functions are used to adjust the brightness, contrast, size and position of the screen.

Proper adjusting for brightness & contrast

1)Set the brightness and contrast to their maximum settings.

2)Set the display area to the minimum size. A black-and-white back- ground (called a Raster) appears behind the display area.

3)Adjust the brightness so that the color of the Raster comes as close as possible to the color of the undisplayed area. This setting provides the sharpest contrast.

4)Restore the preferred display size either by pressing the AUTO-SIZING button or by adjusting the size and position via the ScreenManager menu.

5)Adjust the contrast as desired.
