6.2 Basic

ƒClick on the Basic link on the navigation drop- down menu. You will then see four options: Wizard_Wireless, Network Settings, Wireless Settings, and WAN Settings.

6.2.1 Wizard_Wireless

ƒRefer to Chapters 4 and 5 in order to use the wireless wizard. The other options are described below.

6.2.2 Network Settings

ƒThis device can be configured at a Router or a Bridge. Select Router mode if the WAN port is connected to the Internet. Select Bridge if the device is connected to a local network downstream from another router.

6.2.2.1 Bridge Mode

ƒIn this mode, the device functions as a bridge between the network on its WAN port and the devices on its LAN port and those connected to it wirelessly. Select the Bridge Mode radio button.
