2.Press the battery compartment cover’s tab in the direction of the arrow and the cover pops open. Then remove the batteries.

3.Press PLAY to expose the tape-handling parts.

4.Use a cotton swab dipped in tape head-cleaning solution or denatured alcohol to gently clean the play head, pinch roller, capstans, and tape guides.

5.When you finish cleaning, press STOP. Then reinstall the batteries and close the cassette compartment door and cover.
