7Setting the Parental Control Features

The Parental Control features allow you to block websites, schedule Internet availability, and monitor web visits.

Enable Parental Controls

1.Log in to the modem’s interface.

2.Click Parental Control.

3.Click Basic.

4.Check the Enable Parental Control box.

5.Click Apply.

Create Policies to Block or Allow Content

1.Enter the name of your new policy in the Add New Policy field.

2.Click Add New Policy.

3.Select the newly created policy from the pull-down menu (located beside the Remove Policy button).

4.Go to the box under the desired category (Keyword List, Blocked Domain List, Allowed Domain List).

5.Enter keywords and/or domain names you wish to block or allow.

6.Click Add to grow the list(s).
