Installing Your Card

The following instructions explain how to install the Card and its driver software on your computer. Please read all instructions before attempting the installation.

Step Note: The laptop should be used preferably on a desk when the Card is installed. Using the laptop with the Card close to the body, such as on the lap, is undesirable.

Action Note: The screenshots shown in these instructions were taken from a laptop operating with Windows 2000. If you have a Windows 98, XP, or ME operating system, the screens you see may vary from the screens shown in the instructions.

1.Insert the Card into the Type II card slot on your computer. Be sure to insert the end that has the 68-pin connector into the card slot.

2.Raise the antenna to the upright position.
