Connecting The CMC Module

Connect the serial cable (optional) and network cable(s) from the management system to the CMC module.

NOTE: Your system comes with the CMC installed in slot 1.

NOTE: If the second CMC (optional) is not installed, connect the network cable to CMC port 1 on the enclosure.

NOTE: The serial port connects to the active CMC module.

Connect the network cable to the I/O module to provide network connection to the server.

NOTE: If you have a pass-through module installed in the enclosure, each server module requires its own network cable.
