FOREWORD

Dear Customer,

Welcome to the team of BEHRINGER users, and thank you very much for expressing your confi- dence in us by pur- chasing this PA loud- speaker.

Writing this foreword for you gives me great pleasure, because it represents the cul- mination of many months of hard work delivered by our engineering team to achieve a very ambitious goal: to develop an outstanding PA system that offers a maximum in flexibility and

performance through its impressive sound character and outstanding features. The task of designing our new P Series certainly meant a great deal of responsibility, which we assumed by focusing on you, the discerning user and musician. Meeting your expectations also meant a lot of work and night shifts. But it was fun, too. Developing a product usually brings a lot of people together, and what a great feeling it is when all who participated in such a project can be proud of what they’ve achieved.

It is our philosophy to share our enjoyment with you, because you are the most important member of the BEHRINGER team. With your highly competent suggestions for new products you’ve made a significant contribution to shaping our company and making it successful. In return, we guarantee you uncompromising quality as well as excellent technical and audio properties at an extremely reasonable price. All of this will enable you to give free rein to your creativity without being hampered by budget constraints.

We are often asked how we manage to produce such high- quality devices at such unbelievably low prices. The answer is quite simple: it’s you, our customers! Many satisfied customers mean large sales volumes enabling us to get better purchasing terms for components, etc. Isn’t it only fair to pass this benefit on to you? Because we know that your success is our success too!

I would like to thank all of you who have made the P Series possible. You have all made your own personal contributions, from the developers and the many other employees at this company, to you, the BEHRINGER user.

My friends, it’s been worth the effort!

Thank you very much,

Uli Behringer

Behringer has established itself as a prominent name in the audio equipment industry, offering a wide range of products that cater to both amateur and professional audio enthusiasts. Among their impressive portfolio, the Behringer P1220F, P1800S, P1020, P2520, and P1220 models stand out for their blend of performance, durability, and affordability.

The Behringer P1220F is a powered PA speaker known for its exceptional sound quality and versatility. Featuring a 12-inch woofer and a 1.35-inch compression driver, it delivers powerful sound with a frequency response ranging from 50 Hz to 20 kHz. Its Class D amplifier provides a robust 1000 watts of power, ensuring clear audio even at high volumes. The P1220F also includes a built-in EQ and various inputs, making it ideal for live performances, DJ setups, and public speaking events.

Next in line is the Behringer P1800S, a subwoofer that enhances the low-frequency response of any sound system. Equipped with an 18-inch speaker, the P1800S can produce deep bass notes down to 30 Hz, making it perfect for genres such as electronic, hip-hop, and rock. With a power output of 2000 watts and a built-in crossover, it integrates seamlessly with other speakers, allowing for a full-range audio experience.

The Behringer P1020 is another popular model known for its lightweight design and compact size. This 10-inch speaker offers 600 watts of peak power, making it suitable for smaller venues or as a monitor speaker on stage. Its high-frequency driver provides clarity for vocals and instruments, while the overall construction ensures durability and reliability during transport.

For those who require a larger output, the Behringer P2520 is an excellent choice. This speaker features dual 15-inch woofers and a powerful 2000-watt amplifier, delivering an impressive sound with strong bass response and clear mids and highs. The P2520 is designed for larger events and can easily fill auditoriums or outdoor venues with high-quality sound.

Lastly, the Behringer P1220 rounds out this dynamic lineup. Like the P1220F, it features a 12-inch woofer and delivers remarkable audio performance. Its robust construction, coupled with smart design features such as built-in handles for easy transport, makes it a favorite choice for mobile DJs and musicians.
