viewing DVDs

It’s fun, convenient, and easy to watch a DVD on your notebook!

1.Insert your DVD into the CD/DVD drive.

Wait a moment for the notebook to recognize the disc and begin playback.

2.If your DVD does not play automatically, open PowerDVD from the Windows desktop. Click Start > All Programs > eMachines PowerDVD.

The emachines PowerDVD player is displayed.

3.Click the play button to begin playing the DVD.

When playing a DVD, you can stop, pause, resume play, and go to a different track by using the buttons on the music player or the special function keys on your keyboard.

You can quickly adjust the volume level by pressing the volume up or volume down quick action button.

For more information see “using the keyboard” and “using quick action buttons” in this chapter.
