42 Replacing the System Board

Procedure

1Replace the screws that secure the daughter board to the system board.

2Replace the processor. See "Replacing the Processor" on page 97.

3Replace the processor heat-sink. See "Replacing the Processor Heat-Sink" on page 107.

4Slide the connectors on the system-board assembly into the slots on the computer base.

5Align the screw holes on the system-board assembly with the screw holes on the computer base.

6Replace the screws that secure the system-board assembly to the computer base.

7Connect the power-adapter port cable to the system-boardconnector.
