3.Remove the display panel without removing the display bracket. See Removing the Display Panel.

4.Remove the four screws (two on each side) securing the display hinges to the display cover.

5.Remove the display hinges.

Replacing the Display Hinges

CAUTION: Before you begin the following procedure, follow the safety instructions that shipped with your computer.

1.Follow the instructions in Before You Begin.

2.Align the holes on the hinges with the holes on the display cover and replace the screws on the hinges.

3.Replace the display panel. See Replacing the Display Panel.

4.Replace the display assembly. See Replacing the Display Assembly.
