To change the default settings on the operator panel:

 

1.Turn on the printer.

2.Change the operator panel settings.

3.Use the Arrow buttons to scroll to the MAINTENANCE, and then press the Select button .

4.Use the Arrow buttons to scroll to the Set Defaults, and then press the Select button .

5.Use the Arrow buttons to scroll to the Use Current, and then press the Select button .

The current settings on the operator panel are saved as the new default settings.

Restoring Factory Default Settings

Menu settings marked with an asterisk (*) indicate the active settings. You can restore the original printer settings, often referred to as the factory default settings.

1. Make sure the printer is on.
