INTRODUCTION:

The J-Com Transceiver Control Computer Interface provides the appropriate “level shift” of signals between your computer’s RS-232 COMM port and your transceiver’s TTL computer control connection. By using low power integrated circuit devices to make these conversions, we have been able to package the entire interface into the shielded hood of a DB25 type RS-232 connector. Because only 3.5 - 6 mA of current is required, the interface is able to “borrow” power from the computer for its operation.
