USB Power Cable Installation (optional)

The USB Power Cable is only needed when the ExpressCard doesn't provide enough power to power up your USB device. Self powered USB devices do not need this optional power cable to work.

1.Unplug the USB device from the ExpressCard.

2.Remove the USB 3.0 Single ExpressCard/34 adapter from the ExpressCard slot.

3.Connect the USB Power Cable to the ExpressCard.

4.Plug the other end of the cable into any USB port of the computer.

5.Insert the USB 3.0 Single ExpressCard/34 into the ExpressCard slot of your computer.

6.Plug in your USB device into the ExpressCard.
