You should set the crossoverfrequencytoobtainasmoothandseamless transition from the subwoofer to themainspeakersinyoursystem.Ifyour main speakers are smaller unitswithlimitedlowfrequencyoutput,you may wish to choose a higherfrequency(suchas100-120Hz)thanyou would with larger speakers whichhavegreaterlowfrequencyoutput.With larger speakers, you might startwiththiscontrolsetlower,suchas80Hz.

Low-pass crossover Both sets of inputs sum the leftandrightchannelstogetherandthe resulting signal is passed through anadjustablelow-passcrossoverbefore being amplified. The crossovercontrolallowsyoutoadjusttheupperlimit of the subwoofer's frequencyresponsefrom40to120Hz.Thesubwoofer's response will begin rolling offabovethefrequencyyousetthiscontrolto.

Volume control This control allows you to balancetheoutputfromthesubwoofertothe main speakers in your system. Thiscontrolshouldbesettoachievesimilar volume level from both the mainspeakersandsubwoofer.

Note: Do not use both the RCA/Phono"INPUT"connectionsand"SPEAKER LEVEL-INPUT" connections .simultaneously
