LED Description

EDGE Modem Switch

The EDGE modem can power up independently from the computer regardless of the computer power status and will remain on when the computer’s power is off. This function depends on the setting of the Setup Utility.

Power On Indication:

A green LED will be used to signal when the EDGE modem has been powered on.

Ring Indication:

The LED will flash when the EDGE modem has received a ring.

Status Indication:

The LED will light while communicating.

Indicates EDGE/GPRS data transfer.

Depending on type of call:

 

Voice call*1: Connected to remote party.

 

Data call: Connected to remote party or exchange of

 

parameters while setting up or disconnecting a call.
