Attaching Cables

Connect the modem cable to the RJ-11 connector on the installed adapter module.

You may install the V.34 Modem adapter module in the front-panel Remote Console slot (Figure 2-1), or in any of the three front-panel Module slots. See Installing and Operating the Passport 5430 Multiservice Access Switch for the complete installation procedure.
