Both OKICOLOR 8 printer models are designed to fit smoothly into your company’s environment, to increase productivity for all users. They are fully compatible with Windows® 98, 95, and NT® 4.0, and come with Adobe® PostScript® 3™ standard, for exceptional printing reliability and fidelity — on everything from simple memos to visually-rich presentations.

The network-ready OKICOLOR 8n, configured with an OkiLAN® 6100e 10/100 Base-T Ethernet Print Server,

connects shared workgroups in Peer-to- Peer,® Windows NT® 4.0, Novell® and Macintosh® environments. Adding an optional OkiLAN print server to the stand- alone OKICOLOR 8 gives it wide-ranging network compatibility, as well.

OKICOLOR 8 color printers deliver true 600 x 600 dpi reso- lution. Their software drivers are optimized to provide crisp, clear color “out of the box”… rich black

in text and graphics… consistent color matching… and great output on up to 110 lb. index stock.

For professional-looking output, both models offer 138 Adobe PS™ fonts — with two Multiple Master fonts for accu- rate reproduction of Adobe Acrobat® files

—45 PCL® scalable fonts, 10 TrueType® fonts, OCR A/B and line printer bitmap fonts, and USPS PostNet™ bar codes.

And these printers can easily handle large document files and complex graphics: the OKICOLOR 8 ships with 32 MB of standard memory, and the OKICOLOR 8n starts with 64 MB. Both can be upgraded to 144 MB of RAM using optional SIMMs.
