Parallel interface

Note 1: Printer drivers are not supplied for MS-DOS or

Windows NT 3.51 operating systems.

Note 2: Printer drivers are not provided for Windows NT4.0 operating system installed on a computer with an ARC compatible RISC based processor (MIPS R series, Alpha, Power PC etc.).

Note 3: Parallel interface cable is not included. The parallel interface cable must be bi-directional and to standard IEEE 1284-1994.

Connection

1.Switch off the power to the printer and computer.

2.Connect the parallel interface cable to the printer parallel interface connector and secure with spring clips.

3.Connect the parallel interface cable to the parallel port on the computer and secure with screws.

4.Switch on the printer and then switch on the computer.

Note: Administrator’s authority is required when installing under Windows 2000.
