To ensure that the Canon KM software installed and the Canon printer knowledge module loaded successfully, check the display on the Desktop tab. For details, see the “Monitoring Your Printer Status” section.

Uninstalling Canon KM

If you need to remove the Canon KM software at some time, you must unload the Canon printer knowledge module from PATROL first.

To unload the Canon printer knowledge module:

1.Open the PATROL Operator Console.

2.On the KM tab, under the Knowledge Module and Application Classes folders, right-click each application class beginning with CANON_. Then, click Delete.

3.In the Unload Application Type dialog box, click Yes.
