Install the Update Utility on a PC with Microsoft→ Windows→ 98 or greater. The PC should also have Microsoft→ Office→ 2000 (or greater installed), which includes Access database software.

1. Install the Update Utility by inserting the Update Utility CD into the CD-ROM drive on your PC. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.

2. Start the Update Utility. The Main screen appears.

Status Bar

At the bottom left-hand corner, there is a status bar, which displays the Utility’s current status.

3. Decide what you want to do next:

♦To edit the overlay (change a key’s color or description), see “Editing the Overlay,” for more information.

♦To update the keypad’s software/application, see “Updating the Keypad,” for more information.
